FAQs
Does Better Couch take any couch?
Better Couch does not accept every couch. To qualify, a couch needs to be inspected for severe damages, bugs, and non-antique style. We professionally repair and reclean, we do not reupholster.
Are there any costs to the couch removal process?
There is no cost to having a couch removed when it qualifies and passes inspection. Our free removal is available within 30 miles of Citrus Heights.
Does Better Couch accept other pieces of furniture?
Better Couch only works with couches, sectionals, and sometimes chairs. For smaller items that are still in good sellable condition, we offer haul away for a flat $50 fee. This covers transportation and labor. We’re not a junk removal service, so we only accept pieces we believe we can restore and resell.
What does the removal process look like?
Once you submit the removal request form our team will review the submission. If the items are ones that we can work with we will reach out and schedule a time to inspect it. If it passes the inspection then the team member there will remove it for no cost.
How does BetterCouch decide whether to haul away my couch?
We follow a two-part inspection process to ensure each piece fits our restoration and resale standards:
1. Photo & Info Review – First, we ask for clear photos and basic details about the couch (condition, age, brand, etc.). This helps us quickly assess if it’s a potential fit.
2. In-Person Inspection – If the item passes the first review, we schedule an on-site inspection. If it meets our standards during this final check, we’ll haul it away immediately on the spot.
